Hello- I am trying to connect to the MIERS line. I have a William C. MIERS from southwest GA., b. abt. 1830, d. abt. 1863, m. Martha Annie Hall. I know of a letter written during the Civil War from Mittie Martinlea which mentions a John Andrew Jackson MIERS (listed in other records as J.A.J. MIERS). Is this your Andrew Jackson MIERS or someone else? I have no idea who he is or how he may be connected to my William. Any ideas would be helpful, and also do you have more information on your Andrew Jackson MIERS?
