Dear CD,
I just happened upon your message.I am one of 12 children born to Karl Albert Mielke Jr..It is fasinating how numerically history repeats it's self. These family names are all so familiar. I have a brother named Keith and sisters named Yvonne ,Paula etc....
six boys and six girls in all. We know very little about our Mielke ancestory. I wondered who could help us. My interest got sparked once again when I read that Martin Luther (the great well known Monk) said it is a known fact that "devils and the lap of witches" is in Prussia. Since all I knew is that that is where our family name came from I was naturally dismayed as we are all Catholics (my dad converted). This is all just too weird. Love to hear more about our possible family tree.
Kathy
