Hi Billy, Reference your posting of 3 Sep 2007, subject Middleton DNA test...Westmoreland Co., VA 1730....... I do not have any of the names you mention except for 'William Middleton Sr. who also was a Westmoreland Middleton'. I don't know if you want to connect or expand on this 'William Middleton', but I have a small database of 5618 names and 2721 marriages for the Virginia Middletons with lots of notes and sources. But my database only connects to this 'William Middleton'. These Middletons expand into Tennessee, Illinois, Kentucky, North Carolina, Missouri, Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, and go back into England and Wales to about the late 1200s. William Middleton Sr, brn abt 1750, Westmoreland Co, was married to wife Elizabeth Landman. She died 28 July 1806 in Guilford Co, so there might be a connection. William's father is Thomas; Thomas's father is John; John's father is Robert of England; Robert's father is Robert Myddleton of Wales ( note the change in spelling); and so on, the line goes back to Rhirid (Fychan) ap Madog of Wales in the late 1200s. Maybe, you already have all of this ???? But, if you are interested and want to look at it, I can send the database as an attachment to an e-mail; or as a 3 1/2 inch disc; or as a CD disc. They will all be in GEDCOM format so you can IMPORT the database as a 'new' file in your computer. If you decide, I will need your direct e-mail address or mailing address ( sometimes when I try to e-mail databases, it doesn't always work right). Willard D.
