According to my information, Ner and Christina had 12 children of record. I am descended from Eliza, daughter of Ner, who married Rueben Feese (7/9/1815 - 8/28/1898).
Eliza had 4 children.
Sarah Ellen, daughter of Eliza, married AM Carpenter and had children JP, Sanford and Elsie. JP was an attorney in Sunbury PA and Sanford was a minister.
Elsie married George Walker, had two children, Clarence F.(childless) and Alvin C. (my grandfather). Alvin C. married Hallie Coleman (my grandmother) and had 3 girls: Kathryn, Nancy and Virginia (my mother).
A biographer named George Dunkelberger wrote the "History of Snyder County" in 1948 and had dinner with my grandparents just prior to publishing it. I have a copy of the original typed and hand-edited version of the relevant text of our family that was given to my grandparents by Dunkelberger. In the manuscript, and up to the last minute, Dunkelberger had not reconciled whether Ner had moved to Beavertown via NJ or directly from Glasgow Scotland, to the point it was originally typed as NJ, crossed out, overwritten with Scotland, crossed out and a question mark stands. By today's standards the research methods were primitive. Has it been validated that Ner in fact came from Jersey? It seems so. tia
