Tracing my grandmother's parents, John Gilmer b 3 Nov 1843 in Pleasant Valley, Ontario, Canada and Mary Middaugh (Middagh)
b. unknown, place unknown d. in Ireton, Iowa 1914. Marriage date is 6 Feb. 1874, place unknown. My grandmother, Effie E. Gilmer b. 1 Nov 1887 in Oldbolte, Iowa.
Wondering if Mary Middaugh is from the Ontario Middaugh's posted frequently. Any clues to this family mystery greatly appreciated.
