Hi Gard! All of the info I have keeps going back to the Mormon connection! My ancestors were brought over from England on the Sheffield by the Mormons in 1841-42 and up the Mississippi by river boat to Navou. I really think that Mary and Catherine are connected. I just need to find out where. Please keep in touch. I have a cousin who has done extensive work on our family tree and the Mormon connections. I know he would as would I, like to add to the mounds of information he has already gathered. My father's family owned the Carrick Farm in Keokuk, along with the Struthers, Nightingale and Kite families. Rev. George Miller from the early 1800's was a General in the Mormon Church and instrumental in bringing the Mormon's to Keokuk. If you have anything that would help with my search, please feel free.
