I have a death certificate for Elizabeth Nellis who died 16 Jun 1919 at 87y 11m 2d in Grand Rapids, Kent Co., MI. The certificates says she was the d/o John E. Midlaugh (sic) born in NY and unknown Poster. Elizabeth was said to have been born in Pennsylvania. husband's name not part of the record. I would like to know who she married and if she had children. I assume that her father's surname was Middaugh since I can not find any surname spelled Midlaugh. Nellis families in Grand Rapids came from NY, PA and Canada.
