I found these two families in the 1930. Does it look like Charles and Alta, children of George and Mary Howe? Tumalo Precinct, Deschutes, Oregon: HH/Fam 77/77 Jones, John L, Head, 40, Ohio,Oh, Oh, Farmer ----, Alta M, wife, 19, Ore, Can-Fr, Missouri ----, Irving H, adopted son, 6, Ore, Ohio, Ore Peterson, Robert R, nephew, Ore, Calif, Ore HH/Fam 78/78 Mickle, Charles H, head, 43, Divorced, Ore, Can-Fr, Missouri, farmer It looks to me like they are, with two glaring errors; George, their father, was Can/Eng, not Can/Fr, and Mary, their mother, was b.
