Looking for Mykins, Mikens, Mackans, from Ireland. They intially settled in NYC & Rochester. First immigration was in 1831 for Daniel and Thomas Mykins (born: 1800 & 1806). Daniel J. Mykins served in Civil War discharged as a Capt., married Mary Hull in Providence, RI. Catharine Mykins (daughter of Catharine & Daniel) born 1853 in NYC married Alexander McConnell & moved to Helena, Monatana. Another Daniel Mykins came to NYC, settled in Rochester, married Mary McKennie of Canada & died in Rochester in 1892.
