Sgt T Michie RAF WW2
Hi,
I'm trying to trace the whereabouts of Sgt T Michie RAF, who served with 102 Squadron during WW2. He and the other crew of a Whitley, baled out over enemy territory on 14 November 1940 and all were taken prisoner. They ended up in Stalag Luft 3, Sagan (of 'The Great Escape' fame). One of the other crew was a Harry Radley whose grand daughter I have been trying to help with info. She would very much like to get in touch with Sgt Michie is he is still alive. I'm afraid, no idea with part of the UK he was from, but Michie seems to be an unusual surname.
Any help greatly appreciated. Sgt Michie would be in his 80s if still alive. He may, like Harry Radley, have been very reticent about his experiences, but perhaps someone out there will have a lead.
Regards,
Ann Sadler
