Jill, Here is a little help: John Michie's parent were Alexander Michie and Isabella Cruikshank. They were married in Aberdeen on November 20, 1806. I have not found any children other than John. John and Ann were maried on June 2, 1836. Ann Gordon's parents were John Gordon and Isabel Robertson.
John and Ann had 10 children, Isabella,Ann, Alexander (your great grandfather), Elizabeth,John, Andrew Gray, Margaret, William, George, and David (my grandfather). If I figured it correctly, You are and I are second cousins, once removed. By the way your great aunt Aimie married her first cousin, Frank Leslie, son of Isabella. The plot does thicken as you dig into the family's past. Doug
