Louis Michel.

Louis Michel, 58 years old, of 481 East
Twenty-eigth street, died suddenly last night
at the house of friends, at Bedford and Myrtle
avenues. He left home early in the evening
in apparently the best of health and spent a
pleasant evening with his friends. While bid-
ding them goodby he dropped dead at the door
from apoplexy. He was removed to his home,
from where he will be buried in Greenwood
Cemetery, the Rev. Dr. John E. Lloyd, pastor
of the Twelfth Street Reformed Church, of-
ficiating at the funeral services. Mr. Michel
was well and favorably known in Brooklyn,
where he was in business for many years, hav-
ing only retired only a few years ago. He was the
second oldest druggist in South Brooklyn,
having established his business in 1868. Mr.
Michel leaves a widow and three sons, Louis,
Frank and Arthur.
