Thank you for your thoughtful reply!
I descend from Katie Anna Martin (1876-1944) m. Jefferson D. Munson (1874-1944), via their one daughter Eula. That family left Oklahoma for Webster Co, Missouri, between Apr 1910 [Federal Census] and Nov 1912 [Jeff witnessed record in MO]. Eula and her husband Ralph Brixey followed their son's family to California in 1952.
Aunt Mamie was remembered to "us out here" more than any other aunt or uncle on either side. Knowing her young niece's love and talent for sewing, Mamie would send Eula fabric goods. But Katie put her foot down and got it stopped. It just wasn't fair that Eula's four brothers didn't receive proportional favor...
(Our Bryant surname-line was concentrated in the Kentucky Cumberland, back to at least 1818. There's not a Pawnee Co connection that I'm aware of.)
What more could you use?
Glad to be in touch!
