Michel, CzSlav, emigrant b c 1900 to NY then MD

I am looking for my mother-in-law Ottilie Michel/Michal who was b in CzSlavak, abt 1890s, who emigrated to America abt 1924. Married August Schulze abt 1925-6 (shipboard romance)then moved on to Baltimore, MD. The big question is the spelling of the name. Are there any other Michel/Michal researchers tracing this name in CzSlavak? Believe her name was spelled Michael... but not sure.
