Renato,
I do not find your Peter Michel in the data I have.
Michel is a very common name throughout Germany, and especially Hesse.
There apparemtly a few families that migrated to Argentina and Brazil in mid 1800's.
In the year 1855 several Michel families came to US and South America.

For families from Hesse, emigration records for many can be found in Darmstadt govt. records.

I will watch for your Peter - be sure to search message boards for "Brazil" and "Peter".
