Marriage register of St. Alban's Church in Gabsheim, records the marriage of John Friedrich MICHEL, son of Theodore MICHEL and Gertrude SCHMITT, and Anna Maria KAPP, daughter of Martin KAPP from Klein-Winternheim and Catherine Grode on 11 July 1858. John and Anna came to America in 1860, eventually settling in Dansville, NY. They were the parents of seven children, including my great grandmother, Theresa Rose Michel Hemmer(1859-1922).I would be glad to share information and hopefully find some connections!
