Dear Virginia;
I was *very* pleased to find your informative post! Thank you so much! Henry and "Katherine" (Michel) Martin were my g-g-g-grandparents.
I have a copy of their marriage record from the County of Huron, in Ohio. Is this what you have? Or did you go through church records?
Their children (the ten I know of) were born in Ohio, Missouri, and Kansas. Katherine & Henry both died in Pawnee Co., Oklahoma; interred Masham Cemetery. Their daughter, Mamie Nuttle (later Feaster), was informant for Katherine's death certificate: she gave Agatha's maiden name "Singriss." No parents were listed for Henry.
Now that I have the correct spelling, pehaps I'll be able to find Agnes too. <smile>
Thanks again for posting;
