Michel m Margurite Eunice Harrison by Carol Jagtiani of 661 Dear Carol, I, too, am looking for info regarding my gggrandfather and believe him to be J.J.Michel who married Eunice Sydney Harrisson according to the New Orleans Marriage Index. The date wasOct 31, 1846. I got this from the computer--http://nutrias.org/~noplinfo/newsmart/newsmarr/newsmarm.htm They lived in New Orleans in 1850 according to the census-then part of Jefferson Parish.(Louisiana Disk4 Roll 232.) This Eunice died Nov 18,1867-age 43. I haven't found out all the children, but the census has a Mary E.L. age 13 in 1860.Could she be your relative?-even though some names appear different?
