I have always been curious as to who Paulus' brother might be when it was mentioned that there were two brothers that left Germany. So far, I haven't found anything about the brother. Do you know where and when Nicholas Michael was born? Paulus was born about 1708 so your Nicholas would be in a later generation but could very well be a descendant to Paulus' brother. He could also be a descendant of Paulus because I have only followed Paulus' son Henry's line. It would be interesting to see where your Nicholas connects.
