I have one candidate for the Philip Michael you are seeking. He was born 1777 and died 1850. he is buried Old Cooksboro Cemetery, Pittstown. He appears in the Rensselaer County censuses from 1810-1840.
I don't have a wife listed for him. His mother is listed as a Sarah Rawson. Be careful of tracing that name. There were literally dozens of them in colonial America.
I am trying to find the ancestry of Abraham Michael. Don't know when he was born. He married Margaret Weatherwax, c. 1792. Their first child, Catharina, was baptised in Shaghticoke Dutch Reform Church, 1793. The family moved to Bern, Albany County, where Abraham built and operated a sawmill. In 1822, the family moved to Shelby, Orleans County, NY, and Abraham died 1823. I am descended from his son John J. Michael who settled in Lowell, Lake county, IN around 1838.
Maybe there was a family tie between your Philip and my Abraham Michael.
