My John Michael was a son of Frederick and Elizabeth Michael. Frederick Michael entered USA in 1744; locality: Philadelphia, PA, source: Passenger & Immigration Lists Index 1st Col. Vol 2. H-N.
In 1788, Frederick Michael purchased 983 acres of land from Robert Gregg in Augusta Co, VA. Frederick Michael died 1798 Augusta Co, Va. Frederick and Elizabeth Michael had at least 11 children. Their names were John, Frederick II, Jacob, Susan, William, Elizabeth, George, Christian, Magdalene, Ann, and Mary Margaret (Polly) Michael.

John and Elizabeth (Williams) Michael had at least 11 children. Their names were Catherine, Susannah, Jonas, Elizabeth, Daniel, Jacob, Christian, William, Henry, Eve, and John Michael. Their daughter Elizabeth Michael married Henry Huffer and they are my 3rd great-grandparents.
My 4th great-grandfather John Michael married a Elizabeth Shaffer and had more children. Their children were Frederick, Mary (Polly), Nancy, George, Israel, and Absolom Michael. This information came from another distant relative. You will find that Michael, Huffer, and Moyer families intermarried in Virginia.
