Hi Anne, it was great to hear back from you so soon! I live in Adelaide South Australia which is where Amelia Ann Michael and August Friederick Kessner came to live. I cannot find any details of their marriage but have the passenger list from the Stirlingshire boat that they arrived on with their son Herman. August was a tailor and he and Amelia went on to have 8 children before Amelia's death in 1909.From your family details that you posted it appears that we have a connection through our ggrandmothers.Louisa and Amelia are sisters so that makes Louisa my great grand aunt! I would appreciate any info about their life in Germany especially birthplace but anything you have would be of interest. I find it very exciting delving into the past and finding this link with you is great.
