Hi Everyone,
I was recently researching another family line in Lincoln County. Will looking up deeds in their index, I decided to check out the Michaels. I found several deeds for land to Peter Michael. Thinking he was my Peter born in 1822, I ran off copies. When I got home and started reading the deeds, I was shocked to find the dates ranging from 1806 to 1813. I know that Peter, born 1822, is the son of Jacob and Anna Loretz Michael. I think that Jacob's mother is Susanna, but I do not know his father. This Peter Michael may be Jacob's father. The time is correct, as I have Jacob born about 1802. The only other Michael in the area at this time that I know about is Conrad Michael who married Susanna Hoke. They came from York County, Pennslyvania. I don't know if Conrad and Peter may be related or if Peter is from the Davidson County Michaels. I hope to go back to Lincoln County and see what the deeds for Jacob Michael said. Idiot that I am, I assumed them to be for Peter's son Jacob and did not get them.
