Through the various Cornish censuses I've back tracked as far as a Thomas Michael who was born circa 1798. He seems a shy person in that he was adept at avoiding records. However the 1861 census caught him, aged 63 living with his son John F Michael at 7 Cock Row, Tregony (aka Cuby With Tregony). Does anyone have any info on Thomas? I would like to tie him in with some earlier Michaels in the same area. He married Elizabeth and my baptisms CD/the LDS site has a few offsprings for Thomas/Elizabeth and Thomas/Betsy, but they are all ten/twenty years adrift of John F. so probably not immediate family.

Also is anyone aware of a Cornish Michael one-name project?
