Family lore is that John Isberg had a lumber company circa 1890's in Cadillac area. Story goes he was out of town when someone, who did not have ownership rights, sold his business to another person. Curious about the story and whether John was in lumbering. His cousin Ernst Hjalmar Isberg may have been in the lumbering business after 1893 but not necessarily with John. Ernst Hjalmar was reputed to be a boxer in the lumber camps. Story goes he was known as Hjalmar The Great. Thanks, Larry Isberg isberg48@yahoo.com Notify Administrator about this message?
