Hi,
I'm surching for data about Benjamin Dontje, born 1870 in Kalamazoo, Mi. moved from Portage to Manton on 01-17-1921, he died 12-20-1945 in Manton, Mi.was married with Elgin (Ella) Rhem, who died 02-01-1941 in Manton, Mi.
Benjamin was Mayor of Manton in 1930 to 1932. He became very successful from his celery farming. Is buried at Manton Fairview Cemetery, Manton, Mi.
Who can help me to proof he was Mayor, is there a possibillity for a copy or so?
