Hi Pamela,
I have a page from the Decatur Rural Directory of 1918-1919 and found the following listings of Lyle:

Arley Lyle, resided on a farm in Paw Paw.
Edwin A. Lyle, resided on a farm, southeast of Lawrence.
Melvin Lyle, resided on a farm, north of town.
William G. Lyle, resided on a farm, north of town.

Thought maybe they might be related. Hope I've added some more relatives for you.

Regards,
Mic Andrus
