I have been unable to locate the cemetery in which Lucy Hamburger is buried. She was a resident of South Haven after her marriage to Nathan Hamburger as her 2nd husband. We are starting to believe that she was Nathan's 2nd wife and that he may have had a child or two just as she had when they were married. Together they had Grace Ester, b. 1879 in Grand Rapids. She had two children by her first marriage to a man whose name appears to be Defno...but that may not be correct. These were Wm. and Mary Minnie, who took the name of their step-father, Hamburger. The last we knew of these children was in the 1880 Kent Co. census where they were listed as part of the Nathan Hamburger family. There were two other children, between Mary Minnie and Esther Grace. They were Frank b. 1871 and Nathan Jr b. 1877, both in Saginaw. If anyone has information on any of these family members, I'd love to hear back from you.
