Lost Roses in Schoolcraft Co. 1870s&80s?

I have been searching for death records for my Gr.Grandmother and her parents in Delta County for quite sometime. I have been finding that a lot of families seem to have been buried in Cooks Cemetary at about the time I lost track of my Gr.Grandmother Frances Rose. It also is to my understanding that she dropped dead coming home from Church(Presbyterian, I think), probably in the late 1870s. I'm not sure just how the county lines were in those days, whether they are the same as now, or got moved around some way. Her parents names were Samuel and Anna Marks. I lost track of them after the 1880 Census in Nahma in Delta County, and they didn't appear on the 1900 Census. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You in advance.
