Andrew Lawrence November 1891
Died at his residence one mile north and half mile west of here, Saturday the 14th. Andrew Lawrence, from inflammation of the stomach and paralysis of the heart, after being ill about one hour and a half. Mr Lawrence was and early settler here and was much respected by all who knew him. His age was well up in the fifties. Not withstanding the inclemency of the weather, a large concourse of relatives and friends gathered at the M.E. Church here to listen to an able sermon delivered by the Rev. Mr. john Scott, of Minden City after which the remains were taken to the Mills Cemetery for interement. The afflicted ones have the sympathy of the community in their sad bereavment.
Note:
Andrew Lawrence wife, Melinda and Children can later be found living in Bozeman Montana,where many family member still live.
