Looking for descendants of or anyone researching the family of Melvin DANIELS, and his wife Mary nee COLLINGS. He was born Ontario 1846, and she was born England 1843, and married in Ontario 1869.
According to 1900 US census they were in Elmer Township, Sanilac County, Michigan, and had been in the US since 1882. Children were Florence born 1870 and Ella born 1872 both in Ontario.
Mary had a brother John COLLINGS born England 1846 who may also have moved to Michigan, along with their parents Thomas and Rebecca COLLINGS nee Clemence, who all disappear after the 1881 Canadian census.
Florence Daniels married John A Pollard at Sanilac in 1891. Had two children that I can find Melvin 1894 and Bernice about 1907. He arrived in US 1880 from Canada. He died 1938 and is buried at Hyslop Cemetery, Elm Township. She died 1947 and buried in same cemetery.
Melvin Pollard married Nettie E, surname unknown, possibly Kerr. In 1930 they were in Pine Grove Ave, Port Huron, Michigan, with one daughter Maxine E born 1921-22
Ella Daniels married Edward Tucker 1894 in Sanilac, Michigan. Two children Florence born 1896 Michigan, and Beatrice born 1900 Minnesota. In 1910 the family was in Wheatland Twp, Cass County, North Dakota. By 1930 they were in Spooner City, Washburn County in Wisconsin.
