Thanks Michelle:
I am not sure if this is the right person. It may be though. My main interest is Bertha (Gilson) Chapman to whom Roy Chapman was married.

I believe Roy was born in August, 1896 and I found a slip of paper on which my mother had written Uncle Roy and Aunt Bertha both died in 1981. I believe Roy died in February of 1981. Bertha is becoming a mystery. I cannot find any of the Gilson clan. My grandmother was a sister to Bertha, and I know their Father was one Philip Gilson and mother was one Annie May/e Nichols and have been told for years they were all born in Canada. That is where I am.

Also, the father of Philip Gilson was one Nelson Gilson, if that helps. The time frame of the Gilson girls would be, my grandmother was born in 1895 in Dunnville, Ontario, Canada. I do not know where Bertha Gilson was born, but would presume it was also Ontario, Canada. There were other siblings, one boy by the name of Charles and another female by the name of Helen.

Any help on this would really be appreciated as my mother and father, also my grandparents have all passed away.

Thanks again.
Joyce
