I found a Manley McConnell in the 1930 census. A Liekly Canadian relative indicated that a Manley was born to Reuben and Abigail McConnell near Picton in Price Edward County, Ontario and moved to the US. A likely brother, Varnum (b 1869 in Picton), moved to Sanilac County than on to Alcona County, Michigan where he was Hawes Township Supervisor for many years.
