Hi Christy,

John Armstead was born in 1867 and married Anna Grubber. The Grubber name did take on many different spellings over the years. Joh's parent's were Christopher Armstead and Elizabeth Vanatter. John had a sister, Anna Mary Armstead b. April 25, 1876 in Canada and died July 25, 1963, in Snover, Sanilac County, Michigan. Anna married Joseph Peters January 6, 1892, in Argyle, Sanilac County, Michigan. They had three children that I know of now. John's brother, Thomas B. Armstead, was born May 25, 1871 and died November 5, 1902. Let me know if you would like any further information on this family. I am realated to the Peter's and Grubber's. I hope this helps.
