I am looking for descendants of the Van Camp family who were early settlers in Sanilac County. Clarissa, Samuel, and Jane were siblings and their parents were Jacob Van Camp and Mary Burke. Samuel m. Jane Nobles and had three girls. Clarissa m. Lewis Way and had several children at least 4 surviving Daniel, Lewis Jr, Matilda, and Lillian. Jane m.
Halver Halverson and may have had at least one daughter Jane who m.
Frank Levitt. Clarissa later m. Halverson. Another Matilda Way m. Nathanial Vannest and they had Wealthy and Sarah Vannest. These girls m. Henry Devlin and Austin or James Wright. Laura Ervin m. Clarissa's son, Daniel and had Dietta, Elizabeth, and Sarah. Dietta m.
Ora Hillaker and the Ways m. Allen and Edwin House. Laura Ervin Way m. both Alvin and Anson Silverthorne.
