Joseph was the brother of my 2nd. Great Grandfather Jonathan Lee. They had an older sister who lived in Michigan, Hannah Lee Wixson. Likely additional relatives were: Hiram & Benjamin Lee, and also Ann Lee Fuller -Hugh Fuller's wife. Joseph lived, married, and finally died in Lexington, Sanilac County Michigan August 18, 1890. His wife was Mary Allen Lee; her maiden name was probably Hurley. Thomas & Joel Hurley, both of Worthy, were witnesses. They were married in Worth on November 25, 1857. I'm looking for any family history, such as a church, cemetary or obituary record. I'm trying to locate their family origin in New York. Joseph was born September 7, 1809, Jonathan 1813, Hannah April 3 1803, all In New York. Their parents, Jonathan & Lujah Lee were both born in Vermont around 1770. David Lee, Costa Mesa, California (40 miles south of L.A.)
