record availability

recently a cousin of mine recieved a packet of copies from the probate court of St. Joseph Co. for the estate of Thomas Harvey - Probated 1853. These copies were taken from the microfilm and are unreadable. I need to know if the originals of these records are available and can be copied and if so I need a researcher who will do that for me. This is assuming the originals are in better shape than the microfilm. I do not have a problem paying for this service.
