Did I also tell you that I have a cemetery listing with William and Elizabeth in it along with several other Lincoln's? Anyway...here's what the obit says...The Commercial (Three Rivers, MI)Saturday, Sept. 28, 1929 Pg 6 -William Lincoln - Centerville Resident For Years Died at Home Friday - William Lincoln died at his home in Centerville at five o'clock Friday afternoon after a long illness. He was born in Molish, England May 18, 1854, a son of George and Alice Clark Lincoln. He was married in England to Miss Elizabeth Harris, Nov. 27, 1875. In 1881 with his wife and three children he came to America, locating in Centerville where he has since resided. In his parents family there were four sisters and five brothers of whom there survive Charles of Centerville and George and Mrs. Mary Kemsley, both of England. Eight children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln, Miss Alice at home, Charles of Three Rivers, Mrs. Marie Boyer of Jackson, Frank and Miss Blanch of Kalamazoo, Miss Beatrice, who teaches school in South Bend. Two children, Florence and Eugene preceded their father in death. Mr. Lincoln was janitor of the Centerville schools for twenty years and for over forty years performed a similar duty for the Presbyterian church of which he was a member. Funeral services will be held at his home at four o'clock, fast time, Sunday afternoon. Rev. Merritt Wimberly officiating. Burial will be made at Prairie River Cemetery.
