Yep. Amasa was my g-g grandfather (Amasa had 12 children so there are a lot of us out here <g>). Anyway, I once thought of doing a surname study on the Clark's of Rutland, VT. Even put together an excel document using the federal censuses for the 19th century. Unfortunately, I've put this aside and am working on his descendants.
