Hello Rhonda,

I have been working on my family tree which includes several McKenzie/McKensie family members in the Sanilac, St. Clair, and Huron counties of Michigan. Alexander McKenzie/McKensie was born ~1805 in Scotland and married Margaret Frazier, born in 1805 in Nova Scotia, Canada. Their daughter Mary was born in Ontario, Canada and married John W. Dart in Sanilac County, Michigan in 1862. Alexander and Margaret's other children were: John A., Jannet, Susan, Catherine. There could have been more, I just haven't found them yet! There were many McKenzie/McKensie families in Ontario and Eastern Michigan and they crossed the border frequently!

I don't know if any of this connects with what you have, but I hope it helps, even a little.
