Hi. As a hobby, I rescue old photos and not long ago, picked up one in Lowell, MI. It's of an older man, who's identified as Daniel Hollis. It also states that he "came to Jamestown from Ohio in 1856".

I checked the Jamestown census's and he does appear in the 1860 census, so I'm pretty sure this is the same person. It says he was born in NY.

I also saw that he was mentioned in a book published by a Mrs. Gitchell, and I believe it was about Jamestown.

I ask what I paid for it, plus the cost of a sturdy mailer and current postage. In this case, I'd like to place it with family or if a historical society or another one of that nature would be interested, I'd like to to go there.

Thank you.
