I found in the Ottawa County Death Records 1867-1901 that on 11 DEC 1881, SCHOLS, CORNELIS, died at the age of 32-9-0 of Thyphoid. He was born in the Netherlands and he was a carpenter. Name father: C. H. SCHOLS, Name mother: GESINA.

That GESINA was the first wife of Cornelis Henderik Schols, the father of the Schols listed. He married after the death of Gesina, Tietje Sytses Dijkstra, who was still living in Ottawa County, Michigan in 1910, age 84. She was born 11 January 1826 Leeuwarden, The Netherlands
They married 29 February 1860 Watergraafsmeer, The Netherlands.

The full name of GESINA was Gesina Maria L÷wensteyn. Birth: 4 January 1822 -- Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Death: 30 September 1859 -- Gouda, The Netherlands.

On 14 May 1869 they emigrated to the US with three of the four children out of the marriage with Gesina Maria
