Julia Klaveter was born in Germany May 7, 1845, and departed from this life October 15, 1914, aged 69 years, 5 months and eight days.
In the year 1862, she was united in marriage to Michael Klatt. To this union were born seven children, three of whom survive her.
An aged husband, three sons, Fred C., of Grand Haven; Ernest W. and Theodore A., of Coopersville, three grandchildren and one brother of Grand Rapids are left to mourn their loss.
We have lost our darling mother,
She has bid us all adieu;
She has gone to live in Heaven,
And her form is lost to view
Oh! that dear one, how we loved her
Oh! how hard to give her up,
But an angel came down for her
And removed her from our flock.
