MURRAY PARKS KILLED AS AUTO RUNS INTO TRUCK
MURRY PARKS, a former agent here for the Standard Oil Co., and who is well known here, and who was a truck driver for the Lange Transfer Company of Muskegon, was killed Wednesday night when his head was crushed between the rear of one truck and the radiator of another, as he was attaching a cable to the latter. The impact was caused by the rear truck's being hit by a car, the driver of which has not been identified by the police.
The truck driven by Mr. Parks had stalled and was being towed by another one of the fleet driven by SIDNEY PARISH. The cable loosened when the two trucks were on lower Western Avenue. Parks went down to attach it, and his truck was hit from the rear as he was bending over between the two. Coroner L.B. LEE said a inquest would be called.
Mr. Parks is survived by a widow and two children, who reside at 76 Hamilton Street. As we go to press, we could not ascertain as to when the ffunreal services were to be held.
