MRS. STREETING PASSES AWAY
Mrs. WALTER STREETING, for fifty-nine years a resident of Spring Lake township, died Sunday at her home north of Ferrysburg after a long illness.
Mrs. STREETING was a native of the Netherlands is which country she was born sixty-six years ago. She came to America with her parents while a little girl and had spent her life in the farming section north of Ferrysburg.
The deceased is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. JOHN DYKEMA and Mrs. RICHARD DYKEMA of Spring Lake, Mrs. WILLIAM FETT of Grand Haven, Mrs. HARRY NIENHUIS of Spring Lake, PETER and JOHN STREETING of Coopersville, Mrs. TONY DYKEMA and WALTER STREETING JR. OF Spring Lake. Besides the children there are fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mrs. GEORGE SIKKEMA of Moline, is a surviving sister and JOHN and PETER KRUIZENGA of Spring Lake and EDWARD KRUIZENGA of Fort Plain, New York, are surviving brothers.
Funeral services were held from the family home on Wednesday afternoon, at 1:45 conducted by the Rev. NETTINGA of Holland. Burial was in Spring Lake cemetery.
