1901-9-6 While trimming apple trees for Frank Velzy, for whom he has worked all summer, Bert Naninga had the misfortune to cut off the end of the middle finger of his left hand last Thursday. He will be laid up for a while.
1902-1-17 Dominie Veltkamp officiated at his first wedding last Thursday evening, when he united the destinies of Leburtus Nanninga and Miss Jennie Kramer at the home of the bride's father in the presence of a few friends. "Burt" is employed by Herman Harmsen, who has divided his large house with the young people.
1902-3-28 Cornelius Brower, of Allendale, and Miss Dena Nanninga were married at the home of the bride's father, K. Nanninga, on Wednesday afternoon of last week, by Rev. L. Veldkamp.
1902-9-12 On Monday of this week, Ira Schaap went to Nanninga corners for the purpose of drawing the Bouwkamp hay baler to his place when his team took a notion to run away, and upset the baler in a gully. The result was a badly broken machine and an injured horse.
1903-3-13 Born, to Mr. and Mrs. C. Nanninga, a boy. The child lived only two days.
1904-5-6 Born, to Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Nanninga, two weeks ago, a son, and last week to Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Nanninga, a son.
1905-1-27 Miss Nanninga and Miss Gunstra left Monday to assist Mr. and Mrs. G. Cook at the county infirmary.
1905-9-22 The Misses ... Alice Naninga ... spent one day last week in Fruitport and Grand Haven, and also called on Rev. Veldkamp.
1905-10-27 Miss Alice Naninga and Miss Kate Schaap, of Grand Rapids, visited their parents Sunday.
1905-12-15 Miss Alice Naninga, of Grand Rapids, is spending a few weeks with her parents here.
1906-8-10 Quite a severe electrical storm passed over this place last Friday afternoon. K. Nanninga's house was struck, but slight damage was done.
1907-6-28 Born, to Mr. and Mrs. B. Nanaga, June 19, a son.
1907-7-19 Miss Anna Naninga is spending a week with her sister in Zeeland.
1908-1-3 Miss Alice Naninga is spending a few days in Zeeland...Miss Allie Naninga, of Grand Rapids, is visiting her parents and other friends here.
1908-2-21 Born...February 14, to Mr. and Mrs. C. Naninga, a girl.
1908-6-26 Mr. and Mrs. Charles Morden and daughter, of Corunna, have been spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. B. Nanninga.
1908-9-4 Miss Anna Nanninga is spending a week in Zeeland and Grand Rapids.
