Can anyone ID Lucy A., wife of John H. Wise?

In the 1880 census of Van Buren County, Michigan, Roxie M. Saxton, aged 63, is living with her daughter and son-in-law, Lucy A. and John H. Wise.
In the 1900 census of Ottawa County, Michigan, Roxie M. Sexton/Saxton, born August 1817, is still living with Lucy and John.
Each census identifies Roxey/Roxie as Lucy's mother.
Can anyone identify Roxey and her daughter Lucy? Was Lucy's maiden name Saxton/Sexton, or was Lucy the child of an earler marriage, and Roxey remarried sometime after Lucy's birth?
In most censuses, Lucy gave her own place of birth as Michigan, and that of her parents as New York, but John H. Wise was from Berks County, Pennsylvania, and he and Lucy (aged 24 and 18, respectively) were living there in 1870. If she were born in Michigan, did her birth family move back east to Pennsylvania? Or did John migrate to, or visit in, Michigan and meet Lucy there? [They moved from Pennsylvania to Michigan before 1880 and remained there the rest of their lives.]

Any help in identifying Lucy and Roxey will be very much appreciated.
