Mcdonald family

I have recently found hand written papers about my family history, am wondering if there is more than what I have been priveliged to find. The farthest sold I have is a Lochlan Mcdonald b: 1777 New York D: 1823 St. John river, Sunbury county. There is a story with this about his father that was in the british army, and was shot in 1777 the same year his son was born. His wife was referred to as Lady Mcdonald. There are other details prior, not as many as I would like, so if anyone has any information or would like the information I have let me know.

thanks !
