I just thought I'd list that I found my link. After searching for a death certificate for my Annie (Schmiedeknecht) Rindermann, it listed her father as Phillip Schmiedeknecht. He is the immigrant that seems to be where all the Schmiedeknechts in the US descend from. He had two wives and a lot of children. My Annie would have been from the first wife and her birthdate would make her one of if not the oldest of all the siblings. I was in contact with a gentleman that had the majority of the siblings listed and many of their descendants. If anyone is interested in this line or has further information, please let me know.
