John Melven - Ferry, Michigan

Looking for info on John Ebenezer (or possibly Ebenzer John) Melven born in NY in 1838, died in Ferry, MI 1916. He married Euphemia Jane (Howe?) who was born in NY in 1849, died 1905 in Ferry, MI. They are both buried in the Ferry Cemetery, Oceana County, Ferry, MI.
According to the 1880 MI census, John's father was born in New Hampshire, his mother in Pennsylvania. I do not have their names.

Any info would be appreciated.
